Embedded Systems

Assembly and C programming on a customizable microprocessor implemented on an FPGA board. Verilog components, RTOS, debugging techniques, state machines, software revision control, DSP programming.

Microprocessors

Introduction to microprocessor organization and operation, data manipulation, assembly and/or embedded-C language programming, serial communication, analog-to-digital conversion, timers, interrupts, DC motor control.

Overview of computer network security, broad coverage of cyber security concepts, computer network defense, computer network attack, and wireless security.

Benton High School

I graduated from Benton High School; I also attended courses provided by Bossier Parish Community College for Calculus, Introduction to Programming, and CISCO Networking while in high school.

B.S. Cyber Engineering

Bachelor's in Cyber Engineering from LA Tech University. The degree is the marriage of electrical engineering and computer science with a focus on security and ethics.



Work History

JBI Electric

Worked as electrician's assistant in a large team to help build the Kroger in Bossier City, LA. I wired circuits, layed pipe, installed components, and operated heavy machinery.

Cypress Electric

This was my father's company. I worked summers and weekends in his company from early high school until 2015. I wired residential housing and some commercial buildings.

Lone Oak Homes

Originally hired as a handyman, I performed any needed task. This included cleaning construction sites, houses, and maintaining property. I occasionally assist with technology related requests from the company's owners.

Pizza Hut

I delivered pizzas and worked in a team setting.
